• Employment Type: TravelSalary: $2,300.88/week Medical specialty: Medical-Surgical - Pediatrics Standard shift: Nights Weekly schedule: 3x12 Description:Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.This is a med/surg unit. Must have acute care surgical floor experience. ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed. Nurses for this position will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT. Some of these patients will be Step down care as well. This is a surgical transplant area and also has Step down patients and post op patients.These patients are new transplant patients or returning transplant patients. They need close monitoring for reaction and rejection as well as infection. Required Skills & Experience:1 year of experience in Surgical Specialty - FS Unit. Education: Required Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO) Preferred Education:Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program Required Certifications & Licensure:Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart AssociationPALS (American Heart Association) required within 6 months of hire.ProKatchers LLC is revolutionizing healthcare staffing!
